Servings 6 people

  • 2 lbs Ground Meat beef / chicken / turkey / deer
  • 32 oz Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella or Italian Blend Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 12 Slider Buns

  • Preheat Oven to 400 degrees F
  • Cook and strain meat. Place it back in the pan and mix in pasta sauce until heated through. I like adding an additional tablespoon of italian seasoning here. Feel free to omit if you walk on the plainer side of the food palate.
  • Line the bottoms of your slider buns in a casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle a small layer of cheese on the bread. Place a good amount of meat on top of these. Remember, they’re Sloppy Joe’s cousin, so feel free to really pile it on there. Sprinkle another layer of cheese on top.
  • Melt butter and stir in garlic powder.
  • Place the tops of the slider buns on and use a sauce spreader device (Pictured below recipe) to spread the garlic butter mixture on the tops.
  • Place in the preheated oven just until the tops of the bread start getting firm to the touch. About 5-10 minutes.
